Grain Auger FAQ
The size of grain auger you require depends on what you will be filling with your auger. E.g. Silo, Truck, etc.
We have created an auger calculator above, to help work out the auger size you need, alternatively, you can contact our team on 1800 689 433, they will be happy to talk you through your requirements and offer the best auger solution for your operations.
The capacity of the augers depends on the diameter of the auger tubing and the auger model. Most commonly our x-series swing away models have the following capacities:
X10 Series Auger – Up to 150 TPH
X13 Series Auger – Up to 300 TPH
X16 Series Auger – Up to 600 TPH
All of our swing away augers operate at 540rpm, if your tractor only operates at 1000rpm you have the option to purchase a 1000 – 540 RPM reducer gearbox.
Very similar to the size and capacity of the augers, they each have different HP requirements. Please get in contract with our team to get the right requirements for your grain auger.
