Allied Grain Systems are Australia’s leading engineering, design, supply and installation specialists in grain storage and handling systems. They have over 30 years’ experience in the grain storage and conveying industry and are market leaders in the field. Their current multi-million-dollar projects are producing Australia’s most modern, automated, cost effective and efficient grain handling systems. Their grain handling designs boost plant productivity and capacity at grain handling sites across Australia.

Allied’s engineering team has over 100 years combined experience. The company employs over 40 full time workers. All structural components are manufactured inhouse at their steel fabrication plant in Young NSW, using all Australian steel, and are shipped nationally. The workshop currently produces over 500 tonnes of fabricated steel per annum.

Thanks to a A$282,000 grant through the NSW Government’s Regional Investment Attraction Fund the company has plans to expand its business, doubling the number of workers and their production capacity to 1100 tonnes of steel per annum.

Allied Grain Systems are passionate about keeping as many jobs as possible within the local area.

“We have a fantastic workforce with some employees being with us since the beginning,” said Allied Grain Systems’ Sheree Gibson. “They have been an integral part of the company’s growth over the years.”

“The future is bright. We have a lot of work to get through with over $60 million in contractual obligations to be completed in the next 2 years, with all major projects located interstate,” she said.

“With great support from the Department of Regional NSW we got the result we were after and are excited to continue our expansion plans.”
