Allied Grain Systems’ own Emma Godsell recently spoke on the Tradeswomen Australia podcast about her career in metal fabrication and being the only female in her vocation in Young, NSW.
Emma came to Allied for her work experience in Year 11, and the rest was history. She finished her apprenticeship with us this February, and we love having her expertise on board as a dedicated Allied team member.
“If you put your mind to it you can do absolutely anything you want,” says Emma.
“You’ve got to have broad shoulders, like in any male-dominated trade, but if girls want to do [a trade] they should feel comfortable in saying they want to do it.”
